Teaching with biotech-careers

Submitted by Sandra Porter on Thu January 17, 2013.

Julie Reis, a National Board Certified Science Teacher from Abraham Lincoln High School in San Francisco, CA, recently told us how she uses biotech-careers.org for a student career search activity.  Students follow her directions, complete the worksheet information on brightly colored paper, and post their results around the classroom.

Ms. Reis has kindly made her student instructions and worksheet available for other educators to use as well and you can download the files from this page.

Have you developed career searching activities based on biotech-careers or other related sites? We'd love to see them. Just use the feedback tab to email me, Sandra Porter, at Bio-Link.org.

We're also interested in any other kinds of feedback that you have about the site.  We want it to be interesting for students and easy to use.
